maybe that is why i had such a difficult time last night getting games, only managed to get two games in. i'm eastern time zone usa, so i suppose weekends would be the only time i could play during the hours you suggested. although i'm usually busy with my kids and family during the weekends in the morning/day so even weekends may not work. why is that anyway, not many US players play anymore? just international superstars? Wink

i'm glad you enjoyed those games however they weren't of me if it was played by Tp_Goiaba.

I can't believe you still remember my name, haha. I lived in Alabama, but I've since moved to Florida and gotten married to a girl I met 2 years ago here.

I was just curious to see if anyone was still around in AoK and google'd it. I miss this game for sure.

When I quit AoK I went to Diablo 2, then FPS games like Unreal Tournament 2003/2004. I even competed in UT 2004 tournaments for 1v1, played a bunch of MMO's and various games. Now I pretty much only play Heroes of Newerth and Ut 2004 for fun, I'd install AoK just for kicks and play some.

ah yes i did get the wrong state. Razz yep i remember your name out of the handful i do recall. it is amazing how much you forget when you've been away from it all for awhile. looks like we both got married and entered a new phase of our lives. to this day i haven't found a computer/video game that i enjoyed as much as aoe. played a few games recently but it is hard to find games now for some reason. also doesn't feel the same to me, but thats probably from being away from it so long. i took up my first past time again though, chess, and my two kids are getting into it also (1.5~ and 2.5~ years old currently). the oldest knows all the pieces, the younger knows the knight, pawn, and bishop right now. they have no idea how they move though nor care to. they just like to yell out what the pieces are called and give them kisses. Razz

good to see a more familiar face around here. never got to know you that well but aok social circles were weird back then and people segregated a lot towards the later years. wish we had gotten an actual united states team together though, could have been fun. Smile

I definitely agree that I love AoK the most out of any RTS game. Its a classic to me, just like Ut2004 is for FPS games to me.

Im excited to get a few games of AoK in every week or so, it'll be refreshing.
